Join Our Packing Team – Machine-Made Products (Evening/Night Shift)

Hours: 17:15 until 03:30, 4 days out of 5 (Monday to Friday, with one rotational day off per week)
Breaks: 2 x 30 mins per shift
Pay: £12.50 per hour standard. Enhanced rate of £15.63 per hour for hours worked between 20:00–06:00 or over 37.5 hours per week

What You’ll Do

As a Packing Production Operative within our Machine-Made Products Team, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our delicious pastries are packed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to remain on your feet for most of the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Checking finished products for quality, ensuring correct size, shape, and compliance with product specifications

• Packing finished products into boxes accurately and efficiently in line with product specifications

• Operating and loading packing conveyor belts and preparing products for dispatch

• Assembling boxes and maintaining packing equipment to keep operations running smoothly

• Palletising and wrapping completed boxes ready for shipment

Full training is provided.

After successfully completing your probation period, you will gain:

• Food Safety Level 2 certificate

• Health & Safety Level 2 certificate
