We are looking for a Despatch Operative to join our friendly team! Starting salary is £13.10 per hour with an enhanced rate of £16.38 per hour!

Hours: Monday to Friday
Alternating weekly shifts:
- 1 Week Early Shift: 08:00 – 16:30
- 1 Week Late Shift: 16:00 – 00:30
(Includes 2 x 30-minute unpaid breaks per shift)
Salary: £13.10 per hour
Enhanced Rate: £16.38 per hour (for hours between 8pm–6am or over 37.5 hours per week)

Are you ready to play a key role in our despatch operations? As a Despatch Operative (Goods Out), you’ll help ensure our products are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently, keeping our customers happy and our supply chain running smoothly.
You’ll be joining a passionate, friendly, and growing team that’s proud to deliver high-quality, delicious products across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify products using product codes
- Ensure correct procedures are followed to maintain stock rotation
- Check for damaged or missing items and report/action accordingly
- Compile, print, and issue delivery notes
- Pick and load orders for despatch
- Complete daily stock takes using the AS400 system
- Operate machinery and equipment in line with company procedures
- Keep your work area clean and tidy at all times
- Support additional projects or tasks as required
Please note: You’ll be required to work in cold environments for portions of the shift.

Licenses Required:
- Reach Truck Licence – Essential
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence – Desirable, but not Essential
