We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our friendly team! Starting salary is £13.10 per hour with an enhanced rate of £16.38 per hour!

Are you ready to become an essential part of our dedicated warehouse team? As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a crucial role in our pastry production process, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes the crucial responsibility of setting up our machines at the start of each shift to ensure seamless operations. Hours of work will be 14:00 to 22:30 (with 2 x 30 minutes unpaid breaks), working Monday to Friday.
Starting salary is £13.10 per hour with an enhanced rate of £16.38 per hour. Enhanced rate is for hours between 8pm and 6am and for hours over 37.5 per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- To take efficient delivery of goods & supplies;
- To check for damaged or missing items & report/action as necessary;
- To move & store stock in line with instructions; by hand, using lift gear or a forklift;
- To operate machinery/equipment in accordance with company procedures/policies;
- To pick & load orders for despatch;
- To support the day to day management of the warehouse;
- To support the year end stock-take in accordance with Company procedures;
- To support the Perpetual Inventory Programme;
- To ensure all paperwork and computerised systems are kept up to date;
- To keep work area clean & tidy at all times;

All shifts over 7 hours in length offer an hour's break throughout the shift.

- Good communicator: Able to follow instructions clearly and share updates with the team. A good level of English is needed.

- Friendly and approachable: Contributes to a positive, supportive team culture.
- Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence is essential
- Reach Truck Licence is desirable but not essential
