Pastry Technician

We are looking for Pastry Technicians to join our Pastry team! Starting salary is £12.70 per hour with an enhanced rate of £15.88 per hour. Enhanced rate is for hours between 20:00 and 06:00 and for hours over 37.5 per week.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 14:30, with 2 x 30 mins unpaid breaks. Start and finish times may occasionally change to meet the needs of the business so we are seeking people who can be a bit flexible regarding their hours.

Our Pastry Technicians are passionate and committed to creating high-quality, award-winning pastry and expertly preparing pastry bases for our handcrafted product lines. As an essential part of our business, our Pastry colleagues have the opportunity to elevate their expertise through external Pastry Technology courses, ensuring we stay at the forefront of innovation and craftsmanship in the industry.

Your attention to detail will ensure that we consistently meet the differing standards set by our diverse customer base. You will be following precise recipes to maintain our commitment to excellence, and you will be using and moving large bakery equipment to maintain our commitment to excellence. This is a physically active role, requiring you to be on your feet for the majority of your shift.
